Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial analysis. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles, risk management, and auditing within the financial services industry. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting internal audits to uphold organizational standards. Duties Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Lead internal audits and assist with external audit processes to verify financial integrity. Manage risk assessment procedures related to financial operations and advise on mitigation strategies. Oversee the implementation and utilization of accounting software to streamline financial processes. Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies governing financial transactions. Support the training and development of junior accounting staff as needed. Experience Proven experience in accounting within the financial services sector or similar industry. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Extensive knowledge of risk management practices related to finance operations. Experience with auditing processes, including internal audits and compliance reviews. Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and professional integrity are essential for success in this role.
