About the Role Sancon Commissioning is seeking an organized, proactive, and adaptable Operations Support Administrator to support our office and field operations. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys variety, can manage multiple priorities, and is comfortable supporting both administrative and logistics-related tasks. The successful candidate will assist with travel coordination, onboarding, internal communications, field support, office organization, event planning, charity initiatives, and day-to-day operational needs. This position plays an important role in keeping our teams organized, prepared, and supported. Key Responsibilities Travel, Logistics & Field Support Book and coordinate flights, hotels, camps, rental vehicles, and other travel arrangements for field and office personnel. Assist with logistics planning for project mobilizations, demobilizations, and site support. Support preparation of visa and work authorization packages as required. Assist with LEMs, field documentation, and project support administration. Assist in coordinating vehicle maintenance, service appointments, inspections, and related logistics. Provide occasional driving or pickup/drop‑off support for company vehicles, materials, PPE, equipment, or personnel. Administration & Office Support Support general administrative tasks, document control, filing, and data organization. Assist with SharePoint, Teams, file structures, and program organization. Take meeting notes and help format action items, summaries, and internal updates. Support internal communications, including formatting notices, memos, and team announcements. Maintain office organization, supplies, cleanliness, and general upkeep. Assist with coordinating cleaning, repairs, maintenance, and office service providers. Onboarding & Equipment Support Assist with employee onboarding, including setup coordination, documentation, and orientation support. Coordinate setup of computers, user equipment, basic software access, and workstations. Assist with basic equipment setup and liaise with external IT providers as needed. Basic IT troubleshooting experience is considered an asset but is not required. Events, Charity, Marketing & Company Support Assist with event coordination and planning for internal meetings, company events, charity events, and client-facing functions. Act as a point of contact for charity initiatives, sponsorships, fundraising activities, and community support programs. Coordinate communication with charity partners, vendors, sponsors, attendees, and internal team members. Support planning and execution of company charity events, including registration, materials, logistics, day-of coordination, and follow-up. Order, organize, and distribute company swag, gifts, branded materials, PPE, and promotional items. Assist with marketing material orders, inventory, and coordination with vendors. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in administration, operations support, logistics coordination, or office coordination is preferred. Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and follow tasks through to completion. Comfortable supporting both office-based and field operations. Experience coordinating travel, onboarding, events, charity initiatives, or field logistics is considered an asset. Basic IT support or troubleshooting experience is considered a bonus. Must be a resident of the Calgary/Airdrie area or able to reliably commute. Must have reliable transportation and a good driving record. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
