Commercial Insurance Associate (Alberta)

Responsibilities Interacting with the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor to assist in assembling renewal information or making changes to policies throughout the year as received from the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor. Tracking expiry lists for the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor. Preparing information to be submitted to the Marketers to obtain recent quotes, assembling the information into a presentation format for the prospect/client. Following up on account receivable to ensure timely invoicing and premium payment. Attending meetings with the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor, Commercial Multiline Account Executive on new or renewal business when required. Qualifications Level 1 license is required, with completion of CAIB 1 & 2 strongly preferred. Current knowledge in all aspects of commercial property, having a minimum 1 year experience working in commercial insurance. Proficient with Microsoft programs and Broker Management Software Systems. Ability to multi‑task and interact in a professional manner with clients and colleagues. Great problem‑solving skills and the ability to make the necessary decisions to move work forward.
