Service Manager Automotive (High Level) (Alberta)

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Service Manager to oversee daily operations at our dealership. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive automotive knowledge, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing service department staff, ensuring productive workflow, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Previous dealership experience and mechanic knowledge are highly valued to facilitate effective communication with technicians and customers alike. Duties Manage and supervise the service department team, including technicians and support staff Oversee daily operations to ensure timely and efficient vehicle repairs and maintenance Develop and implement sales strategies, including upselling additional services and repairs Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper financial records Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies, placing orders as needed Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies Provide training and mentorship to staff to promote professional growth Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow and customer experience Qualifications Proven dealership experience in automotive service management or a similar role Mechanic experience with solid mechanical knowledge of vehicles Robust customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships Demonstrated sales ability, including upselling services effectivelyExperience in automotive repair processes and procedures Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Knowledge of automotive industry standards, safety protocols, and dealership operations Job Type Full-time Pay $80,000.00–$120,000.00 per year Benefits Dental care Extended health care Life insurance On‑site parking Paid time off Experience Service Manager: 2 years (preferred) Work Location In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pfb33
