Junior Structural Engineer in Calgary (Alberta)

Become a vital part of Federation Engineering as a Junior Structural Engineer based in Calgary, AB. This position will engage you in refinery, gas, and oilsands projects with responsibilities under the mentorship of Senior Structural Engineers. You’ll conduct detailed calculations, develop designs, and ensure compliance with project specifications. Collaboration with various disciplines ensures optimal project results and adherence to company standards. Key Responsibilities: • Provide civil and structural support to the multidisciplinary team • Execute structural engineering activities meeting project scope and standards • Develop material takeoffs and cost estimates • Communicate effectively with vendors and contractors • Write comprehensive engineering reports and studies Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Structural/Civil Engineering with 3-5 years experience • EIT or P.
