Responsibilities Manage plant accounting and reporting functions, including preparation of management presentations and financial statements. Interpret financial data and events, providing analysis and actionable recommendations to support decision‑making. Maintain robust financial and accounting controls, ensuring accurate reconciliation of asset and liability accounts. Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with business partners to align financial plans with operational goals. Collaborate with plant management and Service Centers to drive alignment and achieve finance objectives. Develop and review strategic and business plans (MTP), contributing to long‑term planning and performance management. Oversee compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application across all financial activities. Manage inventory controls, including monthly balance reviews and reconciliation of physical counts to system records. Act as a change agent for continuous improvement, driving enhancements in financial processes and systems. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Qualifications Education : University degree. Preference for accounting, finance, or business. Experience : At least 5 years of financial management experience with increasing responsibility in complex roles. Training/Certifications : Professional accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent education and continuing professional education. Technical Skills : MS Office, Google Suite, SAP. Travel Requirements : Regular travel between Calgary and the Exshaw plant. Additional Requirements : IFRS / USGAAP knowledge; demonstrated financial/business analysis/cost control skills; detailed knowledge of Amrize plant operations is an asset. Personal Attributes : Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills; strong ability to influence with and without authority. Must adhere to all safety protocols and use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators for applicable roles.
