Your Contribution Your main responsibilities Lead and support electrical engineering design for Building Services team including: commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities. Prepare detailed design documents including calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications. Model electrical power systems (up to 750V) using tools such as SKM. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in project meetings. Conduct site assessments and construction reviews to verify compliance with design requirements. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technologists. Assist with project planning, scheduling, cost estimates, and client communications. Your Profile What makes you unique Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline. Registered with APEGA or ASET. P.Eng or P.Tech.(Eng.) certification is required. Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical engineering. Familiarity in the following categories would be beneficial: Commercial and/or Industrial Building electrical designs. Distribution and backup power systems. Security, door access, CCTV system understanding. Familiarity with Alberta Infrastructure and/or Defense Construction Canada design requirements. AutoCAD, Revit, SKM and/or ETAP experience would be an asset. Experience with electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, communications, and control systems. Strong understanding of Canadian Electrical Code, National Building Code and applicable industry standards. Proven ability to coordinate small or medium design packages.
