Join our team Welcome to the Consumer Health Senior Care team, where we are revolutionizing how Canadians age in place with confidence. Operating within an innovative and empathy-driven environment, our team is dedicated to empowering seniors and their caregivers with technology solutions that preserve independence, enhance safety and strengthen connections. As a Student Ambassador, you will bring our local grassroots outreach program to life. By visiting key senior spaces and building local relationships, you will play a vital role in growing our TELUS Health Medical Alert program and helping Canadians age with dignity and independence. Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together: You will be the face of our local community outreach, working closely with our Senior Strategy Manager. We will provide you with pre-mapped weekly routes, schedules, and helpful talking points so you can confidently connect with associations and healthcare providers who serve seniors and caregivers. Your day-to-day efforts will directly help us test this new channel and find successful ways to build awareness and community relationships. Here's how: Run pre-mapped weekly rotations: Visit pharmacies, senior independent living residences, medical clinics, Legions, community centres, seniors' associations, and medical equipment stores using a clear weekly schedule. Start local conversations: Use our scripts and helpful guides to talk to healthcare providers, staff, and organizers so they know how our solutions can help local seniors and their support networks. Drop off education and marketing materials with your unique tracking code so our customer excellence team can help them get set up, and your impact can be measured. Track your learnings: Log your notes, competitor activity, and overall feedback in a central tracking sheet after each location visit. What you'll bring: Empathy and care: A deep respect for seniors and their caregivers and a strong understanding of the emotional journey families experience during health transitions. Strong communication skills: An easy ability to spark face-to-face conversations, build trust quickly, and share transparent, simple messages with diverse groups. Reliability and initiative: A self-motivated approach to managing your field time, sticking to your weekly schedule, and keeping your tracking accurate. A car and license: A valid driver's license and continuous access to a reliable vehicle to travel to your assigned locations. Great-to-haves: Preferred education: Current enrollment in a post-secondary program within Health Sciences, such as Nursing or Social Work. Community experience: Prior volunteer or work experience in healthcare, senior care, or community outreach programs. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2phdqv
