We support clients across Canada through virtual, evidence-based nutrition counseling. Our mission is to make sustainable, plant-forward nutrition accessible for individuals and families, while creating a collaborative space for dietitians who share this passion. Our websites: Role Overview (Independent Contractor) We are seeking an Independent Contractor – Registered Dietitian (RD) licensed in Alberta (AB) who is passionate about supporting clients with plant-based or plant-rich nutrition. This is a fully remote contractor role with flexible hours. You will provide one-on-one nutrition counseling virtually through Zoom. Scope of Work - Conduct virtual nutrition consultations with clients assigned to you - Provide personalized, evidence-based nutrition guidance tailored to plant-based or plant-rich diets - Support clients with meal planning, nutrient adequacy, and dietary transitions - Document client sessions in the Practice Better platform in line with professional standards - Address a variety of nutrition needs, including general wellness, chronic disease management, and family nutrition Preferred Qualifications - Registered Dietitian (RD) with a valid license to practice in Alberta (mandatory) - Knowledge of and professional experience in plant-based nutrition - Experience supporting vegetarian and vegan clients (asset) - Commitment to a plant-forward approach to nutrition, reflecting the needs of our clients - Experience in virtual counseling or telehealth preferred - Comfortable using online platforms (Zoom, Practice Better, or similar systems) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Why Partner With Us? - Independent contractor role with a fully remote, adaptable schedule — work from home on your own terms - Collaborate with a progressive, plant-focused nutrition network - Access to peer support and shared resources to grow your private practice skills - Opportunities to work with clients passionate about plant-based health - Competitive contractor rates Job Type: Part-time Pay: $35.00-$60.00 per hour Benefits: - Work from home Application question(s): - We offer a flexible part-time model where you set your availability and clients book directly into your calendar. Please describe your experience and comfort level supporting clients long-term within this framework. - Do you currently hold an active Registered Dietitian (RD) license in Alberta?
