Toddler Educator -Level 3 (Northwest Edmonton)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Toddler Educator - Level 3 to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones and fostering a love of learning. This role requires strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a passion for working with children, including those with diverse needs. Must have knowledge and experience in Flight, provocations, emergent curriculum and intentional programming, documentation anf observation. Duties - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of toddlers - Foster a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment with intentional programming and provocations. - Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members regarding developmental progress and daily activities - Maintain accurate records of children's progress and classroom activities - Support children with special needs or disabilities through tailored instructional strategies - Use computer skills to document student information and communicate with families via digital platforms - Manage classroom routines efficiently to ensure smooth transitions and consistent daily schedules - Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities and organizational skills to support team collaboration - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and health protocols - Keep accurate records of attendence, incidents, and observations - Able to document, assess, and share learning in different ways - Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and program policies. Experience - Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings is preferred - Experience working with children toddlers - Flight training and/or experience - Abilities to take consistent observations and Documentation - Demonstrated ability in teaching, communication, time management, leadership, writing skills, and organizational skills is essential - Knowledge of computer operation for documentation and communication purposes is required - Familiarity with early childhood development principles and classroom management techniques is advantageous This position offers an enriching opportunity to positively impact children's lives through dedicated care and education.
