The role combines hands‑on accounting responsibilities with opportunities to support process improvement, assist leadership with financial insights, and help maintain accurate and timely financial information across multiple entities. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail‑oriented, adaptable, and eager to take ownership in a dynamic environment where volumes and priorities can shift. What You’ll Do Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts Preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close processes Supporting annual operating budgets and performance projections Maintaining documentation for cash, AP, AR, and balance sheet accounts Responding to information requests and assisting with year‑end preparation Ensuring accurate and timely AP processing Preparing monthly financial packages with trend and forecasting analysis Creating internal process documentation Serving as a day‑to‑day accounting contact for CEOs Reviewing month‑end files and providing constructive feedback Supporting improvements to accounting systems and procedures Maintaining and reconciling intercompany transactions Supporting special projects What You Bring Solid attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to learn quickly and take ownership Professional business writing experience (letters, emails, proposals) Strong problem‑solving and solution‑oriented communication Self‑discipline, time‑management, and adaptability A commitment to maintaining qualified conduct Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience in real estate or insurance is considered an asset, but not required Experience working in a multi‑entity environment is considered an asset Solid understanding of full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close processes Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, or similar).
