Commercial Insurance Associate (Roper Industrial) (Alberta)

The Opportunity The Commercial Insurance Associate assists the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor with the preparation of information to be submitted to the Marketing Department and/or the Prospect/Client. Full‑time position at our Edmonton branch. Responsibilities Interact with Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor to assist in assembling renewal information or making changes to policies. Track expiry lists. Prepare information to be submitted to the Marketers and assemble it into a presentation format for prospect/client. Follow up on account receivable to ensure timely invoicing and payment of premium. Attend meetings with Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor and Commercial Multiline Account Executive on new or renewal business when required. Qualifications Minimum license level 1 required; completion of CAIB 1 and 2 strongly preferred. Current knowledge of all aspects of commercial property required. 1 year of experience in commercial insurance a definite asset. Proficient computer skills with Microsoft programs and Broker Management Software Systems required. Ability to multi‑task and interact professionally with clients and colleagues. Good problem‑solving skills and ability to make necessary decisions to move work forward. Self‑motivated with ability to work independently under minimal daily direction.
