Job Description Are you looking for a role where you will truly make a difference and contribute to a growing industry in Canada? ECO Canada is looking for a performance-driven individual to join the team immediately. As a key member of the Events Team, the Events Administrator will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of ECO Canada’s virtual and in-person events through administrative, logistical, and customer service support. Everyone is encouraged to take ownership of their ideas and see them through to completion, collaborating with key influencers as required. This is a permanent full-time position. Responsibilities Provide administrative support for ECO Canada’s virtual and in-person events. Assist with event logistics, including registration tracking, meeting scheduling, shipping coordination, and maintaining planning documents. Support the coordination of sponsorship deliverables and communication with sponsors. Help prepare event materials such as agendas, presentations, promotional content, and attendee communications. Assist with maintaining event timelines, checklists, spreadsheets, and internal tracking documents. Coordinate with vendors, speakers, and service providers to collect required information and materials. Assist with participant registration, confirmations, and customer service inquiries. Help organize and maintain event files, contracts, invoices, and post-event documentation. Support the preparation and shipment of booth materials and conference supplies. Assist with volunteer coordination and communication when required. Conduct basic research for venues, suppliers, sponsorship opportunities, and event resources. Provide general administrative support to the Events team and assist with special projects as assigned. Assist in preparing post-event reports, surveys, and feedback summaries for future planning. Qualifications Excellent planning and organizational skills. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to interact positively with a diverse range of people, such as donors, clients, vendors, suppliers, staff members, volunteers, and marginalized diverse communities. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Positive, can-do attitude with a customer‑centric mindset. Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical business conduct. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Interest in the environmental sector. Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), as well as Zoom, GoToWebinar, Shopify, and Absorb. Familiar with various social media platforms. Excellent command of the English language, with strong emphasis on written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience working in the environmental sector is an asset.
