Vice Principal / Teacher Al-Amal Academy is located in North West Calgary and offers an accredited K-9 program compliant with the Alberta curriculum. About the Academy We provide an Islamic learning environment with a wide variety of learning opportunities including classroom studies, foreign language, computer science, and sports groups. Responsibilities Assume a part time Vice-Principal role with administrative and teaching responsibilities. Provide balanced advocacy for teachers, students, and parents. Motivate and inspire staff and students to high levels of achievement. Establish and maintain a respectful, orderly, and purposeful school environment. Support the overall development of literacy and numeracy for all students. Conduct teaching duties as assigned based on qualifications. Qualifications Hold or actively pursue a Master’s degree. Possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Hold a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate. Provide a Criminal Record Check and a Child Intervention Check satisfactory to PLSD prior to commencement.
