Trainee Territory Manager (Edmonton) (Alberta)

Who This Role Is For This is an entry-level trainee position designed specifically for recent University or College graduates, or individuals in the early stages of their career. If you have recently completed your education and are eager to launch a career in sales, business development, and the auction industry, this could be the ideal opportunity. Relevant industry experience is an asset but not required. Please note: This role is not intended for mid-career or senior candidates. The Job Learn to develop relationships with existing customers, assisting in sourcing new business opportunities through networking, cold calling and other proactive prospecting methods. Develop account management, and relationship building skills. Gain expertise using our CRM software to enhance sales development planning and execution. Work with companies in a wide range of industry categories including construction, oilfield, equipment sales and rental, mining, transportation, utilities, government, forestry, etc. Conduct and present research on potential new customers and how you may convert them into current business. Attending auctions, tradeshows, industry events. Work with Operations team leaders, gaining expertise in the entire auction process. The Person To thrive in this position, you will Have a desire to learn the machinery and auto industry. Previous experience is beneficial. Have a desire to develop your negotiation and territory planning skills. Willingness to hunt down current business, develop strong relationship building skills. Work with and support experienced sales and operations mentors to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to become a highly effective Territory Sales Manager. Essential Requirements Valid Driver’s Licence. Valid Canadian Passport or equivalent documentation to work legally in Canada. Fluent in both written and verbal English.
