The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, execution‑focused Operations Director to oversee and optimize the day‑to‑day operations of the business. You will work directly with ownership and leadership to: Improve operational flow Increase accountability Drive process discipline Strengthen inventory and production controls Improve ERP utilization Build scalable operational systems Help remove bottlenecks across departments You will oversee operational coordination across: Manufacturing, Inventory & warehouse operations, Procurement, Shipping & receiving, Production scheduling, Equipment readiness, Service coordination, Operational process improvement. What Makes The Role Ideal Thrives in fast‑moving environments Enjoys solving operational chaos Can build structure without creating bureaucracy Understands manufacturing operations deeply Leads with accountability and follow‑through Is comfortable being both strategic and hands‑on Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Lead day‑to‑day operational execution across the organization Establish operational accountability systems and KPIs Improve production planning and workflow coordination Ensure departments are aligned and executing efficiently Drive continuous improvement initiatives Inventory & ERP Discipline Work closely with inventory and warehouse leadership to improve inventory accuracy and controls Improve operational usage and discipline within Odoo ERP Establish and enforce transaction/process standards Support cycle count and inventory audit processes Reduce operational inefficiencies caused by poor data integrity Process & Systems Development Build SOPs, workflows, and scalable operational systems Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements Improve communication flow between departments Develop operational reporting and visibility Leadership & Accountability Lead and support operational staff Drive ownership and accountability culture Coach team members and improve performance standards Create operational clarity and structure Success Metrics Improved inventory accuracy Reduced operational firefighting Better production visibility Stronger scheduling and planning discipline Improved ERP compliance and data integrity Increased operational efficiency Better cross‑functional coordination Scalable systems that support growth Qualifications 7+ years of operational leadership experience Experience in manufacturing, industrial services, construction equipment, or related industries strongly preferred Strong operational systems and process mindset Experience leading teams in fast‑paced operational environments ERP experience required (Odoo experience considered a major asset) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution Proven ability to improve accountability and operational structure Ideal Candidate Traits Calm under pressure Highly organized Process‑oriented Decisive and accountable Strong communicator Operationally mature Comfortable making difficult decisions Builder mentality Low ego, high ownership Why Join Thermal Intelligence?
