Advisor Trainee- Advisor Development Program (Calgary) (Alberta)

Job Summary Advisor Trainee – temporary contract up to six months. The program prepares candidates for a launch into an advisory career at Sun Life. Chance to transition into an Advisor role or join an existing advisory team upon successful completion of the program. Responsibilities Work out of a local Sun Life District office. Gain knowledge of Sun Life products, tools, processes and practical skills while working directly with clients. Obtain dual licensing in insurance and mutual fund. Handle inbound and outbound calls providing holistic life, health, and wealth solutions to new and existing clients. Complete business development activities and identify personal market opportunities. Execute key activities in preparation for graduation from the program and launch of your advisor career. Split time between working within Prospr advisor team, reporting to an ADP Sales Manager, and gaining exposure to the role of a standalone advisor with local district leadership. Qualifications History of achievements (professional, academic, athletic, etc.). Strong knowledge and passion for retail insurance and investment products. Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic. Enjoy engaging, developing and maintaining relationships with people. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to motivate others to action. LLQP license or completed all course/exam requirements (required). Preferred Qualifications Mutual Fund License or course/exam completion. Demonstrated ability to motivate others to action. Business development skills. Compensation and Perks Base pay range disclosed to qualified candidates. Eligible for incentive plans based on individual and company performance.
