Role Overview Reporting to the AVP of Cyber Security Program Management, the Program Manager, Data and AI Security will lead strategic initiatives across AI and data security domains, encompassing artificial intelligence systems, databases, data platforms, and encryption technologies. The role focuses on shaping enterprise-level cyber capabilities through architecture, platform, and risk collaboration, without day-to-day engineering. Key Responsibilities Strategic roadmap development: develop and maintain an AI & data security capabilities roadmap aligned with the organization’s cyber strategy and risk assessments; define and enforce security-centric technical standards and guidelines for AI models, data platforms, and database technologies. Security requirements definition: establish clear security requirements for AI systems, data pipelines, and storage solutions; embed these requirements into AI model development, data governance, and operational practices through collaboration with architecture and engineering teams. Prioritization & planning: engage stakeholders to prioritize initiatives that strengthen the Data & AI posture; drive alignment across engineering, operations, and architecture; manage dependencies and deliver outcome-driven planning. Governance & tool rationalization: identify tool rationalization opportunities, prioritize in-flight initiatives (stop or continue), address capability gaps, execute quick wins, and preserve security posture. Roadmap publication: define short-term (0–6months), mid-term (6–18months), and long-term (18+months) roadmaps; embed governance and security controls; present to executive stakeholders for feedback and alignment. Delivery of a comprehensive capability framework: include capability heatmap, mapped in-flight initiatives, and prioritized recommendations aligned to the approved framework. Facilitation & influence: lead fact-based, data-driven decision-making; influence technical and business outcomes through solid interpersonal and negotiation skills. Stakeholder collaboration: engage cross‑functional teams to gather feedback, identify improvement areas, and implement actionable solutions. Required Qualifications 7+ years of program management in technology or cybersecurity, with at least 4+ years focused on AI and data security. Deep understanding of AI security controls: model integrity, adversarial attack mitigation, secure ML pipelines, responsible AI principles. Deep understanding of data security controls: database hardening, encryption (data‑at‑rest and in‑transit), tokenization, secure data lifecycle management. Experience implementing data governance that supports privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA) and identity‑based access controls. Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or equivalent required; AI security certifications such as Certified AI Security Specialist preferred. Proven ability to influence outcomes and drive consensus across diverse technical and business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO27001, GDPR. Experience with secure AI development tools and data platforms (Co‑Pilot, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hadoop, Spark, DataBricks, Power Platform, Azure AI Studio/Foundry). SAFE Certification is a plus.
