Schedule: Full time Monday–Friday A well-established industrial and manufacturing organization in Nisku, Alberta is seeking a detail-oriented Purchaser to join their team. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely procurement to support production and operations. This is an excellent chance for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with operations, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain efficient supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities Source and purchase materials, components, and services required for operations Review purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders in a timely manner Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, and delivery timelines Negotiate pricing and terms where applicable to support cost efficiency Track and follow up on orders to ensure on‑time delivery Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information Coordinate with production, inventory, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and supplier performance Qualifications 2–5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Experience working with ERP or purchasing systems Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Post‑secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is considered an asset Benefits Competitive pay from $28/hr to $30/hr Secure, full‑time opportunity Team‑oriented environment Chance to grow within a large, established organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pmj9e
