Responsibilities Guide delivery and enable execution: partner with delivery teams to design and resolve complex solution architecture challenges throughout implementation. Translate business and technical requirements into explicit solution architectures, documenting designs, options analysis, trade-offs, risks, and key decisions. Support teams through architecture spikes, design workshops, and critical delivery trade-off decisions, balancing time-to-market, cost, risk, and long-term sustainability. Work closely with product teams to ensure solution designs support current needs while enabling a sustainable architectural runway across the product lifecycle. Act as a trusted architectural advisor and coach within agile and hybrid delivery models, providing hands‑on guidance and design assurance. Provide and maintain solution architecture designs, architecture decision records (ADRs), business process and capability impact assessments, and design workshop outputs. Maintain a high-level understanding of the enterprise application, data, integration, and infrastructure landscape to support informed architectural decision-making. Provide architectural input and impact analysis to support product managers in investment, modernization, and end-of-life decisions for applications, technologies, processes, and information. Identify and frame opportunities for proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate emerging technologies, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, target architectures, and long-term value. Support the evaluation and selection of software products and services by contributing to standards definition, total cost of ownership analysis, and architectural fit assessments. Create architectural designs and reference architectures to guide and contextualize solution development across products, services, projects, and systems. Collaborate with project and product managers to provide architectural assurance that solution designs and implementation plans align with approved architectures, target states, and stated outcomes. Identify and manage architectural dependencies and integration considerations across solutions to promote reuse, scalability, and consistency across the enterprise. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of architecture principles, standards, and patterns by providing solution-level insight and delivery feedback. Actively contribute to architecture communities of practice, promoting alignment between delivery teams and enterprise architecture direction. Provide input into architectural health discussions by identifying solution-level technical debt, integration risks, and sustainability concerns. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of fifteen (15) years of hands‑on experience in at least two (2) IT solution development disciplines, supported by a broader understanding across other domains. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pmlmz
