Recreation Supervisor (Edmonton) (Alberta)

Responsibilities Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging services Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards Maintain cleanliness of Pool, Kids and Games Rooms; Health Club; Recreation areas including Tennis Courts, Outdoor Activity Centre, Change Rooms and the Boathouse Assist with special events and activities as required, including organizing waivers Responsible for float and management of all revenues during shift from rentals of equipment and sales of merchandise Conduct and enhance departmental orientation and training for all recent Recreation Colleagues Assist with planning, organizing and leading children’s program and Kids Camp for conferences and hotel package groups Assist with weekly departmental audits Submit weekly month‑end inventory counts Assist with familiarizing guests and colleagues to the Recreation facilities Conduct History tours, nature walks, hikes, bike rides and boat tours as necessary Process guest checks in a timely and efficient manner Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions Other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience with outdoor activities – kayaking, canoeing, biking, hiking required Experience with children required Minimum 1‑year supervisory experience required Comprehensive background check required Current First Aid and CPR certification required Pleasure Craft Operators Card required ProServe certification required Excellent communication and organizational skills Robust interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities Highly responsible & reliable Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimal supervision Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Visa Requirements Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
