Description
As the Store Manager, you will lead a high‑performing team, drive sales, and uphold a five‑star customer experience. Responsibilities - Model a customer‑first culture across all roles. - Hold leadership team accountable for active floor management, assigning shifts, reviewing results, and providing feedback. - Provide ongoing coaching and training to enhance selling skills, behaviors, and processes. - Manage store payroll, ensuring it stays within the monthly budget and accurately monitoring timesheets. - Achieve Total Monthly Income (TMI) goals through performance‑based leadership for front‑of‑house and alterations. - Monitor inventory, special orders, receiving, layaway, markdown, and first‑quality standards for all merchandise. - Communicate daily sales goals and drive action through chat ins/chat outs. - Monitor individual performance and develop action plans through weekly discussions, mystery shops, and customer reviews. - Build a talent pipeline, maintain staffing levels, and fill open positions within 30 days. - Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Credentials - High school diploma or equivalent. - Four years of prior retail management experience in an apparel or specialty store. - Experience using a computerized POS system. Work Hours and Physical Demands - Full‑time hours: Sunday through Saturday, 40 hours per week. - Requires standing, walking, sitting for extended periods; reaching, climbing stairs, stooping; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. - Must use vision, read, and operate computers and electronic devices for long periods.
