Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) (Alberta)

The Role We are looking for a fractional CFO who has already done this before. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role to lead capital strategy, structure project financing, and establish institutional‑grade financial discipline as the business scales through this high‑growth phase. You will work directly with the CEO and play a central role in shaping the company's financing strategy across multiple markets. What You Will Deliver Lead and close a ~$15M Series A, including investor strategy, materials, and diligence Structure project finance for infrastructure deployments across Canada, the UK, and Europe Build robust financial models tied to real assets, off‑take, and supply economics Stand up disciplined FP&A;, cash management, and reporting processes Oversee Canadian financial operations as the company expands its multi‑site footprint Engage directly with investors, lenders, and strategic partners What We're Looking For Prior CFO (or equivalent) experience in energy, infrastructure, cleantech, or mobility Proven track record raising venture capital and/or growth equity ($10M+) Deep experience in project finance or structured finance Comfortable operating in early‑stage environments with real assets and live deployments Experience working across Canada and European markets is strongly preferred Credible in front of institutional investors and infrastructure partners Why This Role Existing operating assets with immediate scale‑up Direct ownership of Series A and project financing strategy Exposure to cross‑border infrastructure development Adaptable structure with meaningful equity participation Compensation Fractional cash + equity, aligned with outcomes Location: Calgary, AB #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pu9qp
