We are provincially incorporated and operate as a not‑for‑profit product stewardship corporation. About the opportunity ABCRC is seeking to fill multiple full‑time permanent Warehouse Worker roles. The position will report to an Operations Supervisor and will be primarily responsible for the effective movement of product through the warehouse for bailing or crushing. This is a unionised role, and you must be amenable to joining the United Food and Commercial Workers Canada Union, Local No. 401 upon hire. The starting hourly rate is $20.74 and graduates to a maximum of $25.93 following 1561 working hours, with annual increases per the Collective Agreement. Responsibilities Adhere to ABCRC’s Health & Safety and Workplace Policies and Procedures Ensure that your work area is kept clean and clear of debris Unload, palletise and receive product Unload ‘Mega’ bags onto conveyor to compact/crush empty beverage containers Re‑bundle the ‘Mega’ bags Key/scan information into the Warehouse Management System as required Count/validate product received Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (mathematical skills are required) Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience working in a warehouse or industrial setting Forklift driving licence or equivalent Ability to speak, read and write in English Ability to perform physically demanding tasks which include bending, lifting and carrying Ability to lift 50 pounds Respectful workplace attitude and excellent interpersonal skills Able to function effectively as a team player Job type and pay Job Type: Full time Pay: $20.74–$25.93 per hour Benefits Dental care Employee assistance programme Life insurance Paid time off Location and travel Calgary, AB T2E 8X9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience Warehouse: 1 year (preferred) Work Location In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pxwe6
