Job description Kent Heritage Farms is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our food processing team. As a Food Processing Plant Worker, you will assist in the preparation, packaging, inspection, and handling of food products in a fast-paced production environment while following safety and quality standards Responsibilities - Be able to withstand 2-3 hours in a cold environment. - Be able to lift boxes up to 50 pounds above your shoulders. - Self sufficient individual who is able to follow instructions. - Sort, inspect, and package food products - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas - Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures - Load and unload materials as needed - Work efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets Qualifications - Previous manufacturing or food production experience is an asset but not required - Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks - Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs - Solid attention to detail and reliability - Ability to work in a cold or fast-paced workplace What We Offer - Competitive hourly wages - Training provided - Opportunities for advancement - Safe and supportive work environment Job Type: Part-time Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Job Types: Part-time, Casual Salary: $20.00 per hour Job Types: Part time, Casual, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Benefits: - Casual dress - Company events - Discounted or free food - Flexible schedule - On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o46md
