Accounting Associate (St. Catharines)

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Accounting Associate to join a growing Ontario-based organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and enjoys working across teams. This role is ideal for someone who brings both technical accounting experience and a mindset focused on continuous improvement, accountability, and strong service delivery. Role: Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions Prepare and issue invoices, apply payments, and reconcile accounts Monitor outstanding balances and conduct professional collections Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, and manage payments Support month-end activities , reconciliations, and audit requests Maintain accurate financial records within an ERP system - Odoo Collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in A/R, A/P, and general accounting Experience with ERP systems - Odoo Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Excel and general office software Professional communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and grow Nice to Have: Experience in small-to-mid-sized organizations Exposure to field-service or operations-based environments Familiarity with GST/HST or government reporting Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary: $50,000 $65,000 CAD Benefits and paid vacation A collaborative, respectful, and growth-oriented work workplace Opportunity to contribute ideas and make a meaningful impact If youre looking for a role where you can take ownership, contribute to a supportive team, and grow your accounting career, wed love to connect.
