Accounting Manager (Niagara-on-the-Lake)

Adecco is currently hiring an Accounting Manager for a full-time opportunity. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of full-cycle accounting and financial accuracy. Salary: $90,000-$115,000/year Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON Schedule: Monday to Friday (full-time) Employment Type: Full-time Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy. Responsibilities Execute full-cycle accounting, including preparing and posting journal entries Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Lead the month-end close process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules Support catch-up initiatives by clearing accounting backlogs and reconciliation gaps Assist with AP and AR processes, including resolving discrepancies Perform inventory reconciliations and COGS analysis Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial variance analysis Assist with audit preparation and maintain strong internal controls Support process improvements and system enhancements (ERP/BI tools) Qualifications Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA designation or near completion required 5-9 years of full-cycle accounting experience Strong experience with reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills (including formulas and data analysis tools) Experience in retail or consumer goods environment is an asset Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Interested in this position?
