Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while preparing and serving beverages, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. - Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. - Manage the bar’s inventory by restocking supplies as needed and keeping track of usage. - Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests. - Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing orders and payments. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. - Demonstrate robust time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service. Requirements - Previous bartending experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. - Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and practices, with a focus on customer satisfaction. - Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the food industry. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. - A passion for the food service industry and a desire to learn more about bartending techniques is highly desirable.
