Role Description This is a full-time, on‑site role for a Senior Accountant located in St. Catharines, ON. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing all accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and financial statement preparation. Additional responsibilities include overseeingbudgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, preparing tax filings, and supporting internal and external audits. The Senior Accountant will also analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improving operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

Experience with general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

Strong analytical skills for financial analysis and decision‑making

Familiarity with tax preparation and compliance requirements

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

CPA designation or equivalent certification is preferred

Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
