Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure high-quality food preparation, maintain food safety standards, and deliver exceptional dining experiences. This role requires strong leadership, team management, and restaurant management skills to foster a productive and positive kitchen workplace. Duties - Supervise and coordinate all kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel - Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency - Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures - Develop menus in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative dishes while maintaining operational feasibility - Train staff on food safety, proper cooking techniques, and customer service standards - Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to maintain efficiency and cleanliness - Lead by example in serving customers and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere - Handle customer feedback related to food quality or service issues professionally Skills - Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting - Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling - Excellent team management and leadership abilities - Extensive restaurant management experience with a focus on kitchen operations - Deep understanding of the food industry standards, including safety protocols and sanitation practices - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Exceptional communication skills for effective team coordination and customer interaction - Knowledge of current culinary trends and menu development strategies - Commitment to high standards of food safety and hospitality excellence This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to lead a vibrant kitchen team while delivering outstanding dining experiences.
