In this Controller position, you will partner closely with the VP of Finance, leading the accounting close process and overseeing consolidated financial reporting across all entities. Your focus will be on improving financial processes, supporting budgeting initiatives, and executing systems improvements, including ERP migrations. The role requires a balance of deep technical knowledge and people management skills. Key Responsibilities: • Own and prepare financial statements and reports • Deliver accurate lender reporting packages each month • Facilitate day-to-day banking operations and covenant management • Mentor and develop the accounting team for success • Oversee tax compliance and payroll processing in ADP Requirements: • CPA designation with 7+ years of progressive accounting experience • In-depth knowledge of budgeting/forecasting processes • Proven experience with multi-entity accounting • Solid proficiency in Excel and reporting tools • Experience in inventory-heavy industries preferred Drive financial excellence and team cohesion at Book Depot.
