Automotive Technician Apprentice (St. Catharines)

We are looking for an aspiring 2nd/3rd/4th year automotive technician apprentice with passion for helping others that want to learn, grow and build a career in the industry. Our business is growing through investment in our shop and our people. Responsibilities As an automotive technician apprentice, you’ll have the opportunity to perform a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide variety of makes and models of cars and light-trucks, including: - Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems - Tires, tire repairs, alignments, steering and suspension - Brake repairs - Car heating and air conditioning - Belts, hoses, radiator and engine cooling systems - Batteries, starting and charging - Oil services, visual safety and courtesy inspections - Mufflers and exhaust services - Other responsibilities of interest to help the successful candidate develop skills and competencies based on their long term career goals Qualifications - Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools - Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment - Knowledge of brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires & engine diagnostics on both import and domestic vehicles - Adherence to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities - Valid driver’s license - Own tools/equipment preferred, but not required If interested in learning more, please share your resume and we'll give you a call to discuss this chance.
