Signs & Printing Crew Lead (St. Catharines)

Job Summary BCW Property Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced and motivated Signs & Printing Crew Lead to join our team. This hands-on leadership role involves assisting the Director of Operations in overseeing sign production, printing, and installation projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in vinyl printing, sign fabrication, and is comfortable in graphic design, as well as, leading a small crew while ensuring high-quality workmanship and efficiency. This is an immediate opening for an existing vacancy. Responsibilities - Lead and support daily sign production and installation activities - Operate vinyl printer and cutting machine - Design and prepare print-ready files using graphic design software - Produce and assemble signage (vinyl, coroplast, aluminum, etc.) - Install signage and vinyl graphics at various job sites (including working at heights when required) - Ensure quality control on all printed and fabricated materials - Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment - Maintain a clean and organized workspace - Train and mentor team members as needed - Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures - Work primarily in the Niagara Region with occasional travel Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent preferred - 3+ years of experience in sign making, sign/vinyl printing, or graphic design - Experience operating vinyl printers and cutting equipment - Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record - Working at Heights certification considered an asset (training may be provided) Skills and Attributes - Strong leadership and team coordination skills - Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g. Sai, Flexi or similar) - High attention to detail and commitment to quality - Strong problem-solving and time management skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs - Comfortable working indoors and outdoors Compensation - Wage based on experience Advantages - Dental care (available after transitioning to a permanent full-time position) - Extended health care - Life insurance - Paid time off Schedule - 8-hour shifts - Monday to Friday Experience - Sign making / vinyl printing: 3+ years (preferred) - Graphic design: 3+ years (preferred) - Installation experience considered a strong asset License/Certification - Valid Driver’s License (required) Job Types Full-time Work Location In person / On-site Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour Perks - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - In office parking - Paid time off Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pajy4
