Manager for Water & Wastewater Engineering (Thorold)

Lead the capital program in water and wastewater engineering with a flexible hybrid work model. Shape governance and project delivery for impactful municipal infrastructure. As the Manager of the Water-Wastewater Engineering Management Office, you will lead significant governance and project delivery frameworks that support the Region's capital program. This role seeks candidates with extensive project management experience in municipal environments, focusing on compliance and continuous improvement in engineering standards. Your leadership will ensure effective coordination across departments and regulatory bodies while managing capital budget adherence. Key Responsibilities: - Administer the Capital Project Delivery Framework and governance - Drive capital program monitoring and performance metrics - Develop and standardize engineering governance documentation - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders - Direct budget planning in alignment with Council's priorities Requirements: - Relevant engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental) - At least 10 years in project management for capital projects - Knowledge of applicable regulations and project planning - Preferred certifications: P.Eng, PMP, or similar - Required Criminal Records Check Lead the transformation of engineering practices in water and wastewater services for the Region.
