CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Electrical Engineer to join our Generation & Energy Management Team in Reading, PA; Hartford, CT; or St. Catharines, Ontario . In this role, you will contribute to meaningful projects that support power generation, manufacturing, and mission-critical infrastructure. What You'll Do - Independently complete engineering design, technical analysis, and preparation of specifications and reports for mechanical energy, power generation, and facility energy system projects - Develop computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior staff or technical leadership - Identify and resolve technical discrepancies, applying standard procedures and best practices to support system reliability, safety, and performance - Monitor project progress and performance, acting quickly to resolve technical or operational issues that could impact mission ‑ critical systems - Take responsibility for large portions of projects with oversight from senior staff or management, including field assignments and system assessments What You Bring - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required - Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required - Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Skilled Engineer (PE) license preferred - Strong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settings - Understanding of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standards - Proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset - Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred Why You'll Love It Here - Work alongside experienced engineers on complex, high ‑ profile energy and manufacturing projects - Engage in challenging, performance ‑ driven work that supports advanced technology facilities and energy ‑ intensive operations - Build your career while contributing to resilient, efficient, and forward ‑ looking energy solutions Curious about the work our Generation & Energy Management Team supports within advanced manufacturing environments? Salary Range $90,000 - $100,000 USD / $80,000 - $90,000 CAD Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
