Post End Date: June 19, 2026 at 11:59 PMThis job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group) ADST 5P70 Fall D10 BURLINGTON- WEEKDAY Compensation Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator and Lab Demonstrator positions are paid according to the qualifications that the employee holds. Employees who do NOT hold a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the undergraduate rate - $ per hour. Employees who hold a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the graduate rate - $ per hour. In cases where additional duties are required as part of a Teaching Assistants duties, these hours shall be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate. Duties The duties and responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant shall be in accordance with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement. These are made up of scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (including preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration as may be required. Qualifications 1. Completed undergraduate degree and previous completion of ADST 5P70 with >85 grade. 2. Demonstrated relevant Graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and/or Behavioural Psychology. 3. Demonstrated experience in ABA. 4. Demonstrated experience in disability studies considered an asset. 5. Previous experience in teaching principles of ABA to graduate or undergraduate students and/or clinical staff members an asset. 6. Ability to communicate effectively and provide constructive feedback. 7. Ability to prioritize work and meet agreed upon deadlines. 8. Available to attend in BURLINGTON * and/or attend online synchronous and asynchronous course support weekday/evenings/weekend. 9. Experience using Brightspace or other learning management systems. 10. Experience using video conferencing platforms (, Lifesize, Microsoft Teams) 11.
