Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Jr Sous Chef, at our onsite restaurant Sala 61, where your passion for food and leadership will shine! In this energetic role, you’ll support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Your expertise in food preparation, kitchen operations, and team supervision will help elevate our culinary standards. This position offers a fantastic prospect to grow your skills in a rapid-paced, casual dining environment while ensuring smooth kitchen workflows and maintaining high food safety standards. Responsibilities Assist in supervising daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food production meets quality standards and safety regulations Support menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation to deliver an outstanding guest experience Oversee food handling, preparation, and cooking processes with precision and attention to detail Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries Lead and motivate kitchen staff during shifts, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment Ensure compliance with food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area Assist in catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service Qualifications Proven experience in casual. fast-paced dining settings with strong culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques Supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality workplace is highly preferred Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent team management skills Knowledge of inventory management, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices Strong background in food handling, food service management, and restaurant experience Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and service Passion for cooking, hospitality, and delivering exceptional guest experiences Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
