Electrical Apprentice 1st–3rd Year Thorold

Job Overview AXE Living is seeking a motivated 1st to 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team. This role will work directly under the supervision of a Master Electrician, assisting with residential electrical installations, system upgrades, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, dependable, and interested in developing their skills across a range of residential electrical work while supporting current home construction and related projects. Responsibilities Assist the Master Electrician with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential electrical systems Support electrical rough-ins and finishing work on recent residential construction projects Install outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and electrical panels under supervision Assist with low-voltage wiring and system installations Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on job sites Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying potential hazards Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Ontario Electrical Safety Code and company safety standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment Assist with material preparation, job site setup, and tool management Qualifications Registered 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice in Ontario Basic understanding of residential electrical systems and wiring methods Ability to read basic electrical drawings and layouts Comfortable using common electrical hand tools and power tools Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from senior electricians Reliable transportation to job sites Ability to lift materials and work in construction environments Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits: Dental care Extended health care In office parking Vision care Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pndwt
