Winery Retail Sales Associate Full Time, Full Season …, Niagara-on-the-Lake

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Winery Associate to join our team. This person must be able to work independently, as well as being able to multi-task. The fun part of working in a winery is that you get to meet with people from different places, and different backgrounds. If you are an individual who likes to welcome people and provide outstanding hospitality, this is a great opportunity. The ideal candidate is warm, enthusiastic, and responsible, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage in lively, meaningful conversations with guests. Duties include but not limited to: Assisting customers with indoor and outdoor wine tasting and purchases Handling online and phone orders, which includes processing payments, packaging wine, and providing after-sale services etc. Building enduring relationships with the winery's loyal customers by offering reliable and enjoyable experiences. Restocking shelves as necessary, ensuring the store layout remains tidy and organized. Performing routine housekeeping tasks including dishwashing, polishing wine glasses, and maintaining cleanliness of washrooms. Able to lift up to 40lb case Operating the Point of Sale (POS) system Handling emails & co-ordinating with tour companies Requirements: Valid Smart Serve Certification Able to work on Saturdays and Sundays is a must Able to multi-task Age of 18 or older We welcome candidates without Prior Winery or Wine experience Able to work independently, and in a quick-paced environment Experience: We believe people with different background and experience can add vitality to the team, so people from various experience are welcome to apply this position.
