Foreman/Project Manager (St. John's)

POSITION: Project Manager / Foreman – Residential Construction COMPANY: New Victorian Homes LOCATION: St. John’s, Paradise, and CBS New Victorian Homes operates an active, high-volume residential construction schedule across the Avalon, including ongoing developments at Villa Nova Trails, Forest Landing, and River’s Edge. We require an experienced Project Manager with a practical background in residential construction to oversee these sites. THE ROLE: Take direct responsibility for residential builds from blueprint through to final handover. - Site Management: Coordinate trades and construction crews to ensure projects hit schedule milestones and stay within budget, in a protected, efficient manner. - Quality Control: Enforce company build standards. Catch deficiencies early and work directly with Sales and Warranty teams to facilitate successful handovers. - Client Relations: Conduct site walkthroughs and maintain clear, factual communication with homeowners regarding project status. REQUIREMENTS: - Industry Experience: Demonstrated background in residential project management. Must accurately read and execute construction plans. - Leadership: Ability to manage crews and trades, resolve on-site issues efficiently, and maintain project momentum. - Communication: Capable of maintaining professional relations with sub-trades, municipal inspectors, and clients. - Technical Skills: Proficient in Project Management software and Google Workspace for scheduling and daily documentation. - Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the St. John’s, Paradise, and CBS building landscape as well as local codes is a practical asset.
