Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Line Cook/Dishwasher to join our bustling restaurant team. Duties Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, assisting with food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and portioning ingredients Cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring timely delivery of dishes Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware efficiently as a dishwasher Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene and prevent contamination Assist in organizing kitchen supplies and stock levels to support smooth kitchen operations Support other kitchen staff during busy periods by performing additional tasks as needed Ensure all work areas are sanitized and organized at the end of each shift Experience Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued Knowledge of food handling safety practices and basic cooking techniques is advantageous Experience with meal preparation and food industry standards will help in adapting quickly to the role Previous roles involving serving or food safety protocols are considered a plus This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the culinary arts who are eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
