LTL/Terminal Operations
team! Our
Administrative Coordinator’s contribute significantly to our department continued success. If you’re interested in future Administrative Coordinator openings, please apply at the link below to be considered as opportunities arise! The Administrative Coordinator, Check in/Check out is responsible for ensuring a smooth check in/check out process which will enhance the overall customer experience but ensuring an on-time, exception free delivery.How You’ll Help Ensure specific freight bill details are captured to plan for Inbound/Outbound freight movement. Entering of dangerous good information to ensure accurate placard requirements. Updating the trip board to signal load is complete, all paperwork is ready and trailer is ready to move.Provide manifest details to P&D drivers [via handheld] as visibility to load sequence Ensuring Brokers/Drivers/Cartage have all P&D paperwork / info accounted for when returning to terminal to ensure freight statuses are updated accurately and timely and scan said paperwork to imaging database as required Create new freight bills for spot and switch trailers Ensure Brokers/Drivers are asked if they have any refused and/or undelivered freightReview driver trip details and ensure all assigned and executed work are adequately captured for accurate driver payments. Any additional workload given as specified by manager.
Communication skills - advanced Computer skills– accuracy, MS products, TruckMate, web based programs Attention to details Demonstrated customer relationship skills Strong conflict resolution skills Able to work deadlines in high transactional environment Ability to champion business needs in a collaborative manner to colleaguesResults focused Leadership and team building orientation; negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Your Skills&Experience: Minimum of high school education Post-secondary education (general stream), or a combination of education and experience an asset Previous Transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation would be beneficial. Business Management experience.Troubleshooting and problem solving skills, the ability to evaluate current situation, respond quickly to changing requirements, execute and escalate accordingly Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced setting Experience using Truckmate and assetAbility to multitask and prioritize in a deadline driven environment; appropriate sense of urgency Ability to work independently and to collaborate with others to meet customer expectations To apply, visit our Careers page at
