Accountant (St. John's)

We’re Hiring: Accountant (SaaS / Tech) We’re looking for a detail oriented, systems minded Accountant to join our growing team and help scale our finance operations in a fast paced software environment. Responsibilities - Own accounts payable workflows (invoice entry, approvals, reconciliations) - Perform monthly bank & credit card reconciliations - Support and execute a timely month-end close , including: - Revenue reconciliations - Journal entries & postings - Accruals & prepaid schedules - Sales tax filings (Canada-focused) - Prepare financial statements and internal reporting summaries - Manage intercompany transactions & consolidations - Assist with payroll processing, benefits calculations, and deductions - Help optimize and document financial processes as we scale Requirements - BComm in Accounting or Accounting Diploma - 2 to 5 years of experience, ideally in SaaS, tech, or growth stage environments - CPA in progress or completed - Strong grasp of ASPE, IFRS, or GAAP - Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks or NetSuite and strong Excel or Sheets skills - Solid understanding of Canadian payroll and sales tax - Highly organized, detail driven, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines Assets - Multi entity or multi currency experience - Exposure to US or international tax filings - Experience with payroll or benefits systems - Track record of improving finance processes in scaling companies Why Join Us - Be part of a high growth SaaS company where your impact is visible - Prospect to build and improve systems, not just follow them - Collaborative, transparent team culture - Real career growth as we scale #J-18808-Ljbffr Required Skill Profession Finance Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pdedv
