Financial Analyst for Corporate Finance, St. John's

Quorum seeks a skilled Financial Analyst to enhance our Corporate Finance team. This role focuses on budgeting, financial reporting, and detailed variance analysis to drive informed decisions.

The selected candidate will take responsibility for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes while ensuring proper accounting entries. With 3-5 years of relevant experience, you should excel at working under pressure and possess strong analytical skills. The ability to collaborate with team members and provide mentorship is essential for the overall success of the department.

Key Responsibilities:• Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting procedures • Prepare monthly financial reporting packs and variance analysis • Ensure compliance with corporate and sales tax reporting • Mentor junior team members through workbook reviews • Act as a key contact for annual audits and tax filings

Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • 3-5 years of relevant financial accounting experience • Strong analytical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office • Experience with IFRS and data reconciliation • Criminal background check required
