Transportation Maintenance Supervisor St. John's

Take the lead in maintaining traffic infrastructure as a full-time Supervisor in Transportation Maintenance with the City of St. John’s. This role requires innovation, strong supervisory skills, and a commitment to safety.

In this position, you will supervise staff involved in the installation and maintenance of traffic signs and pavement markings. As a pivotal figure in maintaining operational records and safety, you will coordinate traffic projects and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your leadership will drive safety and efficiency in operations across the City’s infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:• Schedule and supervise traffic maintenance staff • Prepare technical reports and operational manuals • Ensure compliance with traffic safety regulations • Coordinate traffic projects across divisions • Conduct inspections and maintain records

Requirements:• High School Diploma and Civil Engineering Technology diploma • Minimum five years supervisory experience • Knowledge of traffic control devices • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Valid Class 5 License with progression to Class 3
