We’re Hiring: Accountant (SaaS / Tech)

We’re looking for a detail oriented, systems minded Accountant

to join our growing team and help scale our finance operations in a fast paced software environment.

Responsibilities

Own

accounts payable workflows

(invoice entry, approvals, reconciliations)

Perform

monthly bank&credit card reconciliations

Support and execute a

timely month-end close , including:

Revenue reconciliations

Journal entries&postings

Accruals&prepaid schedules

Sales tax filings (Canada-focused)

Prepare

financial statements

and internal reporting summaries

Manage

intercompany transactions&consolidations

Assist with

payroll processing, benefits calculations, and deductions

Help

optimize and document financial processes

as we scale

Requirements

BComm in Accounting or Accounting Diploma

2 to 5 years of experience, ideally in SaaS, tech, or growth stage environments

CPA in progress or completed

Strong grasp of ASPE, IFRS, or GAAP

Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks or NetSuite and strong Excel or Sheets skills

Solid understanding of Canadian payroll and sales tax

Highly organized, detail driven, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines

Assets

Multi entity or multi currency experience

Exposure to US or international tax filings

Experience with payroll or benefits systems

Track record of improving finance processes in scaling companies
