We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join a large-scale cement manufacturing operation in Brookfield, NS. This role is ideal for a strong operational leader with experience in heavy industrial environments, unionized workforce management, and production oversight. You will be responsible for leading production supervisors and operational teams across a continuous manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and performance targets are consistently achieved. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Plant Manager and plays a critical part in driving continuous improvement across quarry, production, and control room operations.What We Offer

Salary: $120,000– $135,000 base + bonus (0–24%). Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Overtime: Based on operational requirements. Benefits

Lead production supervisors and oversee daily cement manufacturing operations Manage unionized production teams across continental shifts Ensure safety, production targets, and quality standards are consistently met Oversee quarry, kiln, pyro‑processing, and plant operations coordination Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencySupport KPI management, reporting, and performance tracking using SAP and other systems Coach and develop supervisors and operational teams Collaborate with maintenance, quarry, control room, and technical teams Manage a 40% office / 60% floor leadership balance Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standardsParticipate in on‑call or shift coverage as required Experience Required

3–5 years of leadership experience in heavy industrial manufacturing 3–5 years of production management experience Strong background in unionized environments Experience in cement manufacturing, mining, quarry, or heavy industrial processing (preferred) Bachelor of Engineering or related technical field preferredHow to Apply
