Job Details - Location: 115 forrest rd St. John's , NL A1A 1E8 - Salary: 19.00 hourly / 8 to 20 hours bi-weekly - Terms of employment: Seasonal employment Part time - Starts as soon as possible - Source: Job Bank #3582772 Education - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience and Skills Experience an asset. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities - Tie and secure plants - Weed, prune and trim trees and plants - Cut grass - Cart and spread topsoil and other materials - Lay sod or seed - Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees - Apply fertilizers - Repair and maintain equipment - Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens - Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment - Tree removal Equipment and Machinery Experience - Chain saw - Small engine equipment - Sprayer or duster - Tractor mower - Weed trimmer/edger Area of Work Experience - Cleaning - Snow removal Specialization or Experience - Specialized environmental skills and knowledge Transportation/Travel Information - Own transportation Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities - Rapid-paced environment - Work under pressure - Handling heavy loads - Physically demanding - Hand-eye co-ordination - Ability to distinguish between colours - Combination of sitting, standing, walking - Walking - Bending, crouching, kneeling Own Tools/Equipment - Steel-toed safety boots - Safety glasses/goggles - Gloves Who can apply for this job?
