Overnight Cleaner (St. John's)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming workplace for employees and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance. Duties - Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various areas of the facility - Conduct specialized cleaning for restrooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met - Maintain cleanliness of floors, and equipment - Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required - Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored - Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and document completed tasks Requirements - Proven experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred - Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures and safety standards - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds - Reliable transportation may be necessary for shift flexibility or travel between sites Join our team as a Cleaner to contribute to a safe, clean, and professional environment.
