Marine Safety Instructor in Foxtrap, St. John's

The OSSC is seeking a full-time Instructor to deliver comprehensive theoretical and practical instruction. Your teaching will primarily take place at OSSC’s Foxtrap Campus and Marine Base in Holyrood, fostering real-world emergency response skills in students.

Key Responsibilities:• Supervise training activities ensuring participant safety • Deliver instruction in firefighting and marine survival • Conduct live-fire and open-water survival training • Develop training courses in alignment with best practices • Perform administrative tasks for course delivery

Requirements:• Minimum of four years in a marine/offshore environment • Valid Transport Canada Certificate of Competency • Relevant diploma or approved equivalent • Experience in teaching and emergency management • Demonstrated ability to operate in aquatic settings
